Dear Parents,
I hope everyone was able to pick themselves up and dust themselves off after the very dreary weekend AND that heartbreaking Badger loss on Friday night!
Check out the MAEFAR projects in the hallway. The 7th graders did a great job on the project! It shows their real ability to draw and gather information on 6 different organisms.
This week we will be going over some general body systems in preparation for the virtual pig dissection and LIVE pig dissection. This week should be a review for most students, so hopefully it will be an easy week for them in science.
My math class: PLEASE look at your child's grades. I have some students who are really struggling. By this time in the year I have explained to them that they need to be ready to come ask questions and pursue understanding. I will not seek them out, other than the usual questions and offers I make.
My reading class: Be aware that your child should be working on questions and a character chart throughout the quarter. There are few grades and those will not be given until the end of the quarter. Please make sure he/she is keeping up with the work.
Friday morning we are doing Stations of the Cross led by our family leaders. We will sit in our families and welcome you to join us if you have time. It will begin around 9:00 in the church.
Many blessings,
Kim
